The Passaic County Sheriff’s Office has adopted the PREA standards set forth by the United States Department of Justice and has educated staff and inmates on recognizing, preventing, eradicating, and reporting any incidents that occur.

The department works diligently to maintain compliance and protect the vulnerable through education, awareness, and policy.
