Near and dear to the Sheriff's heart are the senior citizens of Passaic County.
The Passaic County Sheriff's Office has provided nearly 40,000 seniors with a photo ID card. The card includes an individual's photograph, personal and emergency contact information, and pertinent medical information.
Senior groups and organizations in Passaic County that want their members to have photo ID cards may complete and forward the appropriate request form or call the Community Policing Division at 973-389-5920 to make arrangements for officers to visit their meeting site. Identification cards for seniors are also done every last Thursday of the month from 10:00am-12:00pm at 435 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne, NJ.
Applicants must be at least 60 years of age and present proof of Passaic County residency, such as a driver's license, bill or expired senior identification card.
